Accessing our Government

We believe very strongly that we will be successful in gaining access to our government at levels. Why? We have already had great success at doing so already, from local to federal levels.

What has the FBA Accomplished so far?

The first project of the Fourth Branch of America was to mediate an agreement between the Republicans and Democrats to debate in the Town of New Scotland, New York. This was no easy challenge, as the two parties were at that time refusing to meet due to difference over a legal challenge to one of the candidates wishing to run on the Republican line. The two sides were brought together by the argument that regardless of that situation, the citizens of the town still needed to hear from the prospective candidates in order to make an informed decision in the upcoming election. Arranging this debate, finding a venue for the event, and publicizing it, and then featuring it in the debut issue of The Informed Constituent were all accomplished in the organizations first two weeks of existence.

Since then, their newspaper, The Informed Constituent, has been published monthly, and includes interviews with New York State Assemblyman John J. McEneny, and New York State Senator Neil D. Breslin. The FBA is scheduled to interview U.S. Congressman Michail McNulty in January, bringing them to having access to the federal level in only their first few months. senbreslin.jpg - 231.65 K

Join our Union of Citizens!

The more people we can count as FBA members, the easier it will be for all citizens of America to gain access to our leaders at all levels. While we have had great success so far in accessing our government, we will have greater success at being able to schedule some time with our top government officials when they know that we represent a growing constituency, informed regarding the current events, and ready to hold their representatives accountable.

Help us remind our government and the American people that it is our responsibility as citizens of this country to stay informed regarding the decisions our government makes, and participating in the democratic process. Become a member of the FBA!
